IED Terminals is one of the ECHO investigations under Kenly Student Union in The Division 2.
Your task is to locate the hardware key to access the IED network.
Here’s a walkthrough of IED Terminals (Kenly Student Union) in Division 2.
To begin the investigation, head to the Kenly Student Union building and get to the ECHO.
Search for JTF Officer in North Courtyard
Head to the North Courtyard to search for the JTF Officer. Get through the entrance with the Sports bar signage.
Look for more JTF casualties
Next, look for more JTF casualties. You’ll find one in the kitchen area.
The exact location is shown in the map below, as marked in orange.
Search for server terminal in the Sports Bar
Go back to the Sports Bar to look for the server terminal.
The location is shown in the map below, marked in orange.
Remain in proximity while securing the area
During the infiltration process, you’ll need to remain in proximity for three minutes.
During that time, enemies will keep coming in from all directions. Take them out.
There’ll be an elite soldier as well.
Search for terminal in Coffee Shop
Once the first infiltration is done, head to the Coffee Shop area.
Remain in proximity
Once again, while infiltrating the terminal, you need to remain in proximity (within the square).
Enemies will keep coming in from all directions, including some elites.
Locate IEDs in the Lecture Hall
Next, head to the Lecture Hall.
Prevent IED detonation
You’ll be given over 4 minutes to prevent IED detonation.
Quickly, you have to capture all five terminals, from A to E.
They are located all around the hall. There are 1 or 2 terminals on the upper floor. You only have 30 seconds to capture them.
While you’re capturing terminals, enemies will come in from all directions. After you’ve captured all terminals, secure the area.
However, enemies can take over terminals during the countdown. If that happens, you’ll have seconds to re-capture the terminal.
Also, watch out for elites that use sledgehammers. They can knock you down in 1 hit.
Return to ECHO
After the time is up and IED detonation has been prevented, go back to the ECHO location.
Reactivate the ECHO to complete the investigation.
