Make Space Suits, Won’t Travel: The Outer Worlds Guide

Last updated on October 4, 2020 by A L

Make Space Suits, Won’t Travel is a side quest by Celeste in The Outer Worlds.

Your task is to become her model and find outfits from different places, among other things.

Here’s a walkthrough of Make Space Suits, Won’t Travel in Outer Worlds.

To begin the quest, meet Celeste in her shop in Byzantium. The location is provided in the map.

Agree to become her model and she’ll ask you to get different suits – Iconoclast, marauder and spacer.

Get Iconoclast, Marauder and Spacer outfit

Iconoclast outfit can be obtained from or during the quests Pay For The Printer and The Commuter.

If you happen to choose MSI over Iconoclasts, then killing the latter may also drop the relevant armor.

As for marauder, it’s quite easy. Just head over to Emerald Bay and you’ll find plenty of marauders. These marauders should drop the helmet and armor.

The helmet may not be called ‘marauder’ but Hephaestos instead.

One place you can find plenty of marauders is at the Abandoned Outpost as shown below.

The marauder outfit looks like the one in the image below. There may be more choices, but this one worked.

The most confusing one is the spacer outfit.

The helmet and armor that worked for us did not have the ‘spacer’s choice’ description on the title.

You can buy the spacer’s outfit from Ike’s Armory on Groundbreaker. He is the NPC near the promenade fast travel point.

You can buy the ‘Enclosed Padded Helm’ which is actually Aramid Ballistics. The shirt was one of the worker’s outfits (Port of Call) if not mistaken.

Just buy them all and try to make things easier.

Return to Celeste

After finding the outfits, head back to Celeste.

Speak to her after trying each outfit.

Find Raptidon Flank Hide and Mantiqueen Chitin

Your next task is to find raptidon flank hide, mantiqueen chitin and primal leather.

The first two can be obtained together.

One good place to get both raptidon and mantiqueen is near the Devil’s Peak Caverns.

You don’t have to enter the cavern. Just walk around it and you’ll find Raptidons and a Mantiqueen.

Kill them and pick up the loot.

Do the same for the mantiqueen.

Find primal leather

As for primal leather, head to Emerald Bay. You should find primal behemoths all around the map.

One location you can find primal is shown in the map below, marked by the blue player location.

You will see a primal behemoth with some minions here.

Kill them and get the primal leather.

Another location you can find primal is at the Old Wreckage which is southwest of Edgewater.

You can also find more primal at the northeastern side of the map as shown below, marked by the blue player location.

Once you have all the items, give them to Celeste as she makes a Chimaera suit for you.

Help Celeste retrieve her parcel

She’ll then ask you to retrieve her parcel at the Halcyon Parcel Service.

Talk to the first officer named Olive.

She’ll ask you to speak to the next person instead.

Wanda then says that the parcel is out for delivery.

Look for the parcel in the location shown below.

You’ll then see a note that the HPS delivery was unsuccessful.

Next, go back to Wanda at the Parcel Service.

She’ll ask you to speak to Olive again. Give her the authorization you received from Celeste.

She’ll hand over the parcel to you.

Return to Celeste

Go back to Celeste’s shop and you’ll find that she’s already dead.

The Guard Commander will talk to you. Clearly they killed her.

You can either attack them or just leave them be.

Take Celeste’s key from her body.

Open the door using the key.

Inside her room, you will find the Chimaera that she made for you. The quest ends here.
